‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.’

Matthew 11:28-30  (NIV)

Invited

May the words of invitation

Find room in your heart,

Fire your imagination.

May you be drawn by

Arms-open-wide love,

And lean in.

May you risk beginning the journey,

beyond safe boundaries,

And know surprise.

May you be changed

In your walking

Formed and fashioned

In your exploring.

May you be graced

By the companionship of fellow pilgrims

On this road

May you find unburdened rest,

In deep and gentle presence

As the way unfolds.

May you learn what it means

To welcome the unexpected,

Be interrupted by wonder,

Delight in discovering

Again

And again,

That in strength and in weakness

You are loved.

Amen.
